Dr Alan Jones:-

22 years of teaching and training experience in London and Cornwall across a range of subjects. He is an inspirational trainer who is able to translate his extensive theoretical knowledge into effective, practical strategies for learning and change.

Alan is an accredited Neuro-Linguistic Programming Trainer and now consults on performance coaching, emotional intelligence, behaviour and motivational issues, mentoring, leadership and accelerated learning.

He is an Associate Trainer for the University of the First Age and is working on a number of innovative projects including, Aim Higher, E-coaching, Student Leadership, Thinking Schools, Emotional Intelligence Training and EQ-ualise Mentoring.

As an accredited Edward De Bono Consultant, he is involved in helping training individuals in the use of thinking skills.

He is Lead Trainer for the Institute NLP and offers accredited training in NLP, Educational Coaching and Therapeutic Hypnosis through Quality Coaching Solutions.

Currently engaged by the South West Initiative for Training (SWIfT) to research the impact of postgraduate professional development programs he has also worked with the Eden Project in Cornwall on the development of their educational philosophy and learning programmes and Cornwall Children’s Fund on the monitoring and evaluation of their key projects.

Alan is Chair and co-founder of Engage, which aims to bring together alternative and complementary thinkers and practitioners who seek to provide holistic and proactive approaches to community health and wellbeing.
